SIDEWALK SUNDAY SCHOOL
Metro Philippines partners with local churches to influence their immediate communities. Teams head out each week to conduct a dynamic hour-long program where each minute is directed towards sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Metro Philippines uses a customized yellow truck with a pull-down stage and sound system; one converted tricycle and embarks on mobile sites where the truck has no access.
Presently, Metro Philippines reaches out to an average of 20,000 children per week, with the valuable help of over 60 partner churches. Through their concerted efforts, relationships are built with these children and their families. The weekly personal visitation is the foundation of Metro's effectiveness in reaching out and developing close interactions with the children.
The Head Office of Metro Ministries Philippines is in Metro Manila; with two satellite offices in Dagupan and Davao. Beyond the Metro Manila sites, Sidewalk Sunday School has permeated in other areas including Dagupan, Bulacan and Palawan in Luzon, Leyte in the Visayas and Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Cotabato, Digos, and Davao in Mindanao.
